POST GRADUATE PROGRAMS:

Course Name: Master of Management Studies ( MMS)
The Master of Management Studies(MMS) program is a two year full-time post graduate program, conducted at GIMSR. The MMS Course offered by GIMSR is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and DTE, Government of Maharashtra. On successful completion the student gets MMS Degree from University of Mumbai.

Eligibility:
A candidate is eligible for admission only having Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks for the Open category and 45% marks for the Reserved category. The candidate should have appeared for MH-CET or any other criteria as stipulated by the Directorate of Technical Education from time to time.

Program Structures:
The 1st year of the course provides foundation for different areas of business , by exposing students to diverse subjects. In the 2nd year students specialize in one of the discipline [Marketing, Finance, HRM, Operation Research ].

The course encompasses extensive use of case studies and projects based on real life situations, enabling students to develop an ability to think in a corporate way. This is further supported by highly interactive learning experience for students.

Program Structures:

* The course contents, curriculum and structure are designed by the University of Mumbai, in line with the requirements of Government, Corporate and Social Sectors.

* The First year of the course provides foundation for different areas of management , by exposing students to diverse subjects. In the Second Year students specialized in one of the discipline [Marketing, Finance, HRM, Operation Research ].

* The course encompasses extensive use of case studies and projects based on real life situations, enabling students to develop an ability to think in a corporate way. This is further supported by highly interactive learning session with experts from corporate sector.

* With a blend of core subjects and specialization, it equips students with theory, practices and latest trends in management practices.
* The methods of teaching are supported by online learning materials and handouts covering the lecture materials, Industry Interface and Project work.
* The students would be required to undertake two months (60 days) Summer Internship Project normally during May & June.

GIMSR offers specialization in the following streams:

EXAMINATION SYSTEM :
Examinations are held in November- December and March-April every academic year.

Internal examinations are conducted on a regular basis. The faculty engages in periodic evaluation; assessment is done on the basis of conceptual clarity, active participation and analytical ability, knowledge, skills, personality traits. Constant mentoring by faculty enables students to develop their personality and enhance their learning value.

The student should anticipate the demands of the examination schedule, plan accordingly and be prepared. In order to help students plan their schedule and study optimally for examinations particularly for University Examinations, some mock tests are conducted.
